The project consists of a 326-meter viaduct with a central span resolved with a 140-meter span arch. Over 10,000 m3 of concrete were employed, combined with prefabricatd pieces and on-site concrete, making it novel and unique at the time of its implementation. 100% of the engineering and manufacturing was carried out with local companies, which highlights the potential of our industry. Our office carried out the draft project and the final project, while assisting to the technical direction throughout the whole materialization of the arches.Thanks to our previous experience in the use of BIM tools, this methodology was applied to achieve a clean and organized planning in the implementation of tasks, optimized designs, and the meeting of demanding deadlines for the project. The construction project lasted two years and set a record for projects of this magnitude.
